Long Time
Yeah, it's been a long time! Yes life has been busy. We finally had Brian's other ear done and are looking forward to the results! The shop is all but finished. Only to hook up the second garage door opener and we are done! Braxton and I made a trip up north to look at a college! Wow, my baby almost gone! He is thinking about Physical Therapy! It will be odd when he is gone, although he doesn't exactly hang much with us now. Brax has always been a busy body. He can't hold still for very long. I have been working a bit. I love it! I have also been making Christmas cards! My Mom and Dan are coming for Christmas!! We are all so excited to be together! What a privilege! I love how my family cherishes one another and our time together. I just wish that Tony and his family were coming too.

More Lessons Learned
So I went out and picked the tomatoes. I picked 6 walmart sacks full! Changed my attitude! Wow, what a blessing! I am now done whinning and will put on a few layers, yes, I am blessed.
booo-hhoooo
I'm so sad. I'm standing here needing to go out and pick the tomatoes and bring in the very last of the garden. Can't bring myself to do it. I spent much of this last weekend pulling out the dead stuff, I left the tom's hoping that it would stay warm a little longer. But IT'S Cold out there. Have I mentioned that I LOVE SUMMER. Fall is beautiful and so is winter in it's own way, but I am truly a Son worshiper:)) I love the sun too! Fall makes me so sad. O.K. enough putting it off out I go. Accept it and move on, right. It was a wonderful summer and I'm sure it's been much colder in Evanston lately.

A Ride With the Flashing Lights
What excitement we had Friday night. Not the kind that parents like to have. Braxton is playing football this year. I was talking to someone....looked away from the game for just a few seconds and heard the crowd hold it's breath (you know the kind when something bad happens). When I looked down on the field it was him, laying on the field not moving at all. He was knocked unconscious so we took a ride in the ambulance. They did a CT scan, X-rays of his chest and spine, took blood and decided he could go home. He is very stiff and sore almost everywhere, but he is OK and had one of the biggest gains for our team of the night! (In the form of a penalty for the late hit.) Football uurrgghh, but he loves it and I needed a few more gray hairs. Right?!
