Poor Reen

Last week was our 3rd annual scrappin' weekend. This year it was Doreen's turn to host. Unfortunately Paula was MIA and our scrappin time was invaded by a sick-o bug. Reen did not feel well. What a trooper though. We latte'd her up and she did what she could. Hazelnut, Yuck!

It was -9 this morning at our house. A little Lake Powell therapy is in order! A trip through the pictures should help. Does anyone recognize this? A little too much ta-kill-ya. Don't ya think?

All Excited!

OK, so yes I do realize I sound really old here. The weather has been so awesome! It seems my eye is always on the weather, like some old person. You know, spring is coming and that has me ready to jump up and down. I think I really will!! My sweet friend Darby and her girls helped me collect rocks yesterday for the pond! Now that I think about it, the weather wasn't so hot. Lot's of wind! It was so windy it almost blew poor little Kate away:) We had a very fun day together! Gathering rock is best done early around here. We live in rattlesnake country! I am very happy to report that no snakes were encountered and no mountain lions either! Always a good thing. Unless you are Amanda, Braxton or Brian. They're just crazy. I'll have to share my rattlesnake in the freezer story sometime. Thanks to Braxton. On a diffrent note Here's a cute pic of Manda the snake charmer from Mother's Day two years ago. Yes, I said mother's day. That was their idea of doing something fun with mom. I do have to admit I had a good time too. It was not without adrenaline!
